I have 10 years’ experience in digital, arts and lifestyle journalism, and am a member of Mind charity’s media advisory board.
I trained at the BBC and Empire magazine, and have written or worked for The Telegraph, The Times, The Sunday Times, thelondonpaper, Q, Kerrang! and The Lady.
I am a regular guest on BBC radio, and have appeared on BBC One. Panel work includes PR Week’s PR and the Media, The Low-Cost Digital Conference, Empire’s Big Screen, Pen and Penmanship with Domestic Sluttery and reading from my cringeworthy teen diaries at Ultraculture’s Teenage Wasteland.
Scroll down for my portfolio. (Scrolling! Old school).
I won Literary Death Match with my Christmas story A Marvellous Party, was a finalist in the 2013 Elle Talent Contest and am now writing a novel. Sorry about the smug picture, but I’ve never looked so A Lady Novelist.
I’ve been blogging since 2000, when I made terrible websites out of Dreamweaver. Luckily I don’t have to use Dreamweaver at Domestic Sluttery, the brilliant design and lifestyle blog that I contributed to for three years, writing its books and tall fashion columns until its closure in 2014.
